This year, taking a breath of fresh air in the countryside will not be a luxury for anyone. Give yourself a free ride on « the Chemins de Photos » while ensuring the health protection rules in force.
Every year, in summer, there are 1500 pictures to see in the hills of Razès, Piège, Malapère and Lauragais for a hundred of open air exhibitions and large format.
A living world
It is with this title we launched the call for authors for the 2020 edition.
From the cell to the stars, the infinitely small and the infinitely large are actually alive. Do we have proof of this now in this period where globalization and microscopic particles collide to devour the world of humans? The interactions between humans, animal world and plant world are vital for our future and humans, obviously are the main predator of the planet…
Man or the infinitely small
Les Chemins de Photos do not pretend to answer these questions but our very current exhibitions illustrate well this year these interactions in biodiversity. 80 photographers investigate our world and appropriate the villages of our hills to hang their pictures.
I love Génerville
A photography trip in a village of 60 inhabitants.
Inquisitive eyes of photographers in a village that doesn’t want to die, conservation of landscapes, dreamy eye in front of a sign «private parking», confusion in front of this deafening tranquility, smiles for the portraits of the inhabitants.
Terra incognita (walking through…)
Particular series Covid-19 : 22 gazes exhibited in Les Chemins de photos
Face to the spring current events we invite the photographers of Les Chemins de photos to document their confinement forced in the threatening shadow of COVID -19. Each look reflects a personality and testifies to the freedom of artistic creation, before the difficulties of today or to come do not let it be told. Put the masks down, but let’s remain optimistic and vigilant about the future of our «Terra incognita»!
