The launch of the Maison Doisneau Photo-Botanical Garden will take place on Saturday, March 16th at 11am.
Both a pleasure garden and a useful garden, this area aims to grow plants selected for their color and chlorophyll content (violets, spinach, etc.). These plants are then harvested and then crushed in order to obtain non-chemical, colored and photosensitive juices. These juices will make it possible to draw, during workshops, photographic prints called anthotypes (“tests with flowers”).
This photo-botanical garden is implemented by the city of Gentilly, the Gentil ‘jardin association and the Maison de la Photographie Robert Doisneau.
