For more than a year, Lucile Béranger has had a passion for old photos, probably inspired by her own family photos contained in several albums dating back to before she was born. Yet they do not contain an ounce of dust and are regularly consulted. They are looked after. But now, few members of her family can name all the protagonists.
Lucile Béranger hunts for photos at flea markets and garage sales. She chooses arbitrarily to whom she will return her colours and I am amused to imagine that one day, a child she has coloured in will come and talk to her about her photo and the people around her.
