From François Mitterrand, Bill Clinton and the Queen of England who open the International Ceremony of the 50th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in Normandy on June 6, 1994 to the tribute of Barack Obama who salutes an American veteran during the 70th anniversary in 2014, going through Private Ryan (the authentic GI’S who inspired Steven Spielberg’s film) on a walk in the Colleville-sur-Mer American cemetery, reporter-photographer Jean-Yves Desfoux, who covered all the events at the front row, presents a retrospective exhibition of 70 photographs, as part of the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day, in the footsteps of veterans and closer to the Heads of State.
