L’ANGLE gallery presents the Expo_023, “Cosmos_II” by David Tatin *, from August 20 to September 27, 2020.
Mediation evening with David Tatin, on September 19, 2020 at 6p.m.
Cosmos
From the Greek Kosmos, world: The whole of all that exists / The universe as a whole.
“Among the random things, the most beautiful: the cosmos. The invisible harmony more beautiful than the visible. Nature likes to hide. “- Heraclitus, De la nature (poem) –
“Where does this access to the invisible come from? And once the invisible is reached, how do you share it? As the meditator manages, by dint of practice, to find within himself a place of peace, being outside often and multiplying experiences as close as possible to nature makes it possible to feel, more than to see, what we miss when we just pass. It is about seeking what is beyond us and transcends us, what emanates from living beings and landscapes …
This cosmic “elsewhere”, it is very often near my home that I have found it. To meet him, I walked, cycled and swam. Immersion in time, or in the first sense. ”

Biography
David Tatin was born in 1975 in Arles. In wild nature as well as in sites that seem only urban, his photographs question our relationship to living things, to the territory, and to the traces left by man. The artist enjoys pacing the margins and friction zones, walking, and soaking up the spaces he traverses. His personal series are regularly published and exhibited, especially since 2013, where he decides to devote himself entirely to photography. Using both old and digital processes, he also carries out commission work for regional nature parks, and supervises internships for the Orbisterre association. Trained in various structures, including the continuing education certification course of the National School of Photography in Arles, David Tatin also holds a master’s degree in biology.
David Tatin is represented by the L’ANGLE gallery.
* “Cosmos_II” the exhibition co-produced by L’ANGLE, is a continuation of “Cosmos”, presented at the L’ANGLE gallery in Hendaye, at the Voix Off festival in Arles and at Fotofever Paris, in 2019.
