The 2019 edition of the International Photography Awards (IPA) is now open for submissions.
Photographers of world-grab your gear and start taking those shots! The biggest and most highly anticipated event in Photography is back for its 17th annual edition and is now open for entries for the 2019 IPA photography competition. Professional, amateur and student photographers are invited to submit their most provocative and visually captivating photographs for consideration for this prestigious award.
This year the IPA is rolling out a number of exciting changes, including brand new entry categories (analog/film, astrophotography, minimalism, smartphone and “street” photography, to name a few), and lots of new prizes and benefits for the winners.
With entrants from over 100 countries around the world each year, photographers will be competing for:
$47,500 in cash prizes
The title of “Photographer of the Year” (Professional) and “Discovery of the Year” (Amateur)
The coveted Lucie Statue at the Lucie Awards Gala
The IPA Trophy awarded at the “Best of Show” Opening event New
Publication in the IPA Annual Book of Photography
Feature in the IPA Best of Show Exhibition opening in New York City, and showing in Los Angeles, Moscow, Paris, Budapest, Barcelona, Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai, Manila, Bangkok, and other cities throughout the year.

Submissions
The early-bird deadline is March 24, 2019. Submission entered by this date will receive a 10% discount on submission fees. The regular submission deadline is July 14, 2019.

IPA’s outstanding international jury comprised of gallerists, photo editors, art collectors, curators, social media influencers, and other photography luminaries will evaluate entries based on originality, technical excellence and artistic merit. Submission Fees: from $15 to $35 for single image, discount for additional categories.
Revenue from submission fees goes to support programs of the Lucie Foundation (https://www.luciefoundation.org/).
