L’Atelier d’Artistes has the pleasure to present eighty photocollages, drawings, and albums of the unknown Czech artist Bohumil Štěpán (1913-1985) made mainly in the years 60-70. Born in 1913 in Bohemia, Bohumil Štěpán is a painter, illustrator and graphic designer. He has published several works Gallery (1968), Collagen (1970) and Familienalbum (1971) composed of his surrealist drawings and photocollages, of a mischievous spirit, sometimes tinged with black humor. This first monographic exhibition in France of the works of Bohumil Štěpán is accompanied by the publication of a catalog.
