Bernard Laurent, photographer reporter, exhibits two series, “Appearance” and “Coincidences”. His recent work, by the coincidence of subtle elements, leads our eyes towards a purely imaginary universe or tinged with humor. “Appearance” is the result of his journey between photography and architecture. His eye captures an appearance in the bend of a reflection or a shadow and he further contrasts his prints to get deeper blacks and more intense whites revealing a more abstract image. For Bernard Laurent landscapes and architecture are a real source of photographic wonder that leads to an aesthetic of emotion.
