Since the beginning of time, man has contemplated the sky and the stars, from this surface that is the Earth that connects us to each other. Simultaneously, we also looked for a way to describe and explain what we saw. We want to conquer, we want to be there, we want to be everywhere. Someday, perhaps, it will happen, and then we will disappear once more into this interstellar emptiness.
Gallery & CO119 presents the exhibition – Little commentary. It is the first major collaboration between artists Eliso Tsintsabadze and Pavel Filkov. Produced in the United States, this project is the recognition of the gap between the idea of a fantasized Great West and the reality of contemporary landscapes, and also questions the role that photography plays in the construction and deconstruction of myths.
