Selected among six finalists – Sofia Borges, Anne-Lise Broyer, Julien Magre and Alexandra Roussopoulos, Manuela Marques and Edith Roux – Elina Brotherus (born in 1972 in Helsinki, Finland), who has been working on the self-portrait for many years, will introduce for the first time with this new series realized within the framework of the Carte blanche PMU, a second personage in her images. Her project will be exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, in Paris, in the Photographic Gallery in the fall of 2017 and will be published in a book by Filigranes.
