On the occasion of its 14th edition, EAT Photos introduces us to the latest work by photographer Antoine Henault represented by the 37.2 agency.

“In India” brings together a series of images photographed by Antoine Henault during two trips to India between March and October 2023.
Like a faithful representation of the different cities and lifestyles observed across the country, Antoine Henault approaches street photography in fragments, in search of blurred impressions and fragile atmospheres. The subjects photographed are often mixed with their environment in a graphic set of shapes and colors sometimes tinged with mystery and dreaminess.
In a country where color is generously displayed on bodies and walls, the photographer’s own pictorial approach is deployed in warm tones, working as if with pigments the shades of orange and vermilion red which spread across the stone and skins, shades of blue and green on fabrics and wall paintings.
