The New York Public Library welcomes photographers John Cohen, Edward Graza and Ann Parker for a discussion led by curator Elizabeth Cronin. This exchange is taking place as part of the exhibition Viewpoints: Latin America in Photographs, organized and hosted by the main library in the city.
John Cohen is known for his films, documentaries and photographic works. He followed and contributed to the emergence of notable figures like Bob Dylan, Robert Frank or Roscoe Holcomb. He is a great connoisseur of Latin music, notably by the prism of Peruvian music (the monograph Past, Present, Peru, Steidl, 2010 or his film Peruvian Weaving: a continuous warp, 1980).
