TIDES is a project created last year from previously shot work of sculptural renditions intended for installation purposes. My macro shots of these sculptures then morphed into another viewpoint, allowing the public to get close and intimate with fantasy sea creatures (both animal and plant life) that inhabit the oceans, and more specifically, the reefs. It is the fragility of our coral reefs that this work is hoping to remind the public….a difficult task because these environments are so far from our daily existence, yet are so vital to the health of a balanced planet.
