Lebohang Kganye is the winner of the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2024.
During a special ceremony at The Photographers’ Gallery, London on Thursday, 16 May 2024, the artist was awarded £30,000 prize for her exhibition “Haufi nyana? I’ve come to take you home” at Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam Foam.
The exhibition showcasing all projects by the shortlisted artists VALIE EXPORT, Gauri Gill & Rajesh Vangad, Lebohang Kganye and Hrair Sarkissian is on view at The Photographers’ Gallery, London until 2 June 2024. It will then be on show at the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation in Eschborn/Frankfurt, Germany, from 13 June to 22 September 2024
