The Project 2.0 Gallerie in The Hague presents the new Ground Zero series by Denis Rouvre.
This project starts in the first days after. It poses the question of what is re-created when the structure of the world as we know it disappears. Forced to start from scratch, in the very place where the original unexpected grabbed them, men and women form new tribes. A collective for the occasion, built on the need to live together and adapt. And again, a new aesthetic. Because ashes that are still lukewarm can spark the spark of the future, they are clothed in the rags of the old world that they are reborn in that of tomorrow. As they appear, enigmatic assembly of rags and charms, strong and dignified yet.
The supervisors and reintegration employees of Emmaus France – who rely on donation and generosity – then embody those who have drawn vestiges of what to cover and start again …
