Brihat is sometimes  passionate for a subject that he has turned round and around, photographed from every angle and from every possible variation inspired by its form. Onions, like poppies or kiwis, are such. The trivial modesty of the subject, contrasting with the sumptuousness he draws from it, certainly contributes to the contentment, even to the pride, that comes to mind when he evokes this series.
