Michel Tournier, writer, photographs lover, was one of the founder of Rencontres Internationales de la photographie d’Arles in 1969 with de Lucien Clergue and Jean-Maurice Rouquette.
He accompanied, with a hardly talent, the festival during several years, and livened up meetings and readings there which left a passionate memory.
