From May 18 to 29 at the Hôtel de Sauroy, the editor-in-chief of the magazine de l’air is presenting Collection 02, an exhibition/sale of nudes and landscapes by eight artists. Since its creation in 2000, this magazine has presented a vast array of images of intimacy: raw, tender, tortured, frank, sexual, pornographic, photographic… de l’air has also been in tune with nature, naturally featuring images geared towards landscapes and vast expanses. These two traditional photographic subjects are now very naturally coming together on the immaculate walls of the Hôtel de Sauroy.
Works featuring nudes were created by Elene Usdin, Linda Tuloup, Jean-Marie Huron, Jacques Borgetto, Grégoire Korganow, Floriane de Lassée or Florent Mattei.
Their subjects can be at times impatiently posed in forests or caves, while others are in hotel rooms, flowery pools, horror films… Each picture displays a snapshot of the world in its simplest form. Each provides the occasion to celebrate beauty, a quintessence becoming the object of desire and the projection of one’s personal story.
