David Schonauer begins his review with a photograph by Andrew Testa taken in Belgrade. The people of the city came together in protest against the extradition of Ratko Mladic, arrested this past May 26th after 16 years of exile.

This week President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama continued their European tour. After Ireland, here he is in Buckingham Palace with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Back in the United States, in Missouri he is portrayed embracing a family in front of the rubble left by the tornado in Joplin.

The second part of David Schonauer’s Press review is lighter. Celebrities, amazing photographers and a bit of edgy humor.

For Harper’s Bazaar, Danielle Levitt has photographed Sarah Ferguson getting ready to begin a new TV show: Finding Sarah.

The light and the weather conditions in Namibia have allowed Frans Lanting to shoot some remarkable photography, notable for its pictorial effects (National Geographic).

Finally, the last image is the cover of Fast Company magazine, shot by Matthias Clamer : Conan O’Brien wearing the clothes of seven of the most remarkable people in the history of the world…Madonna has her place, right next to Einstein!”
