My name is Danielle Delferrière, aka Hamilton Lake. I was born in Liège, Belgium, in 1975. My work is defined by my love for portraits and snapshots. Most of the time, I have the subject’s consent and we work together. I don’t like photographing someone without their knowledge. There’s something intrusive about that method, so I rarely use it. I’ve shot a lot of concerts and still occasionally do, today I prefer to take portraits of artists and work on longer photo essays.
