Notre-Dame de Paris – Restored
As an architectural photographer, I was delighted to see and photograph the beautifully restored Notre-Dame de Paris during my visit last December.
Standing before the restored Notre-Dame with my camera, I felt the weight of its history and the triumph of its revival.
Through black and white photographs, I aim to highlight the profound connection to Notre-Dame’s physical beauty and the collective spirit that had brought it back to life.
The cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, reopened on December 7, 2024, after five years of restoration following the 2019 fire.
The reconstruction, guided by historical records and modern technology, restored the spire, roof, and intricate interiors while preserving stained glass, statues, and relics.
