Derealization is a medical term that describes an alteration in one’s perception of the external world, making it seem strange or unreal. This is an involuntary distancing from the world that surrounds us.
Damien Guillaume “derealizes” bodies together, making them almost asexual.Their sexuality is absent, or rather so removed that becomes intangible, as if intimacy, with respect to one’s own body or to another, was only an illusion.
Born in Besançon in 1978, Damien Guillaume lives and works in Paris.
