Circulation(s) : Young European Photography

Preview

Initiated in 2011 with the collective Fetart in 2011, the festival Circulation(s) aims to promote the young European photography and help the professional insertion of the photographers. This year again, the festival will take place at the Bagatelle park in Paris, until the end of March.

With more than forty projects, choosen after a international call for applications, the program is biger than last year. Here is our selection. François Cheval, chief curator at the Musée Nicéphore Niépce (France) succeed to Christine Ollier as sponsor of this edition. With a Carte Blanche, François Cheval selected four artists: Morgane Denzler, Manon Recordon, Stan Guigui and Philippe Pétremant. Carlos Ayesta, Colin Delfosse, Vladimir Vasilev and Patrick Willocq, laureate of the SFR Young Talent price, are on view beside them.

François Cheval accepted answering our questions, as Marion Hislen, creator of this young festival. Exhibitions, installations, projections and many other events will be held during the next weeks. Apart from the jury’s selection, some artists are invited. Among them, the Belgian school Saint-Luc, with Maxence Dedry and Elodie Ledure’s works, and the Austrian Anzenberger Gallery who presents the images of Thomas Herbrich and Klaus Pichler.
