Circulation(s) is a showcase for different European projects: a guest school, a guest gallery, and a guest project. This year, it is the Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (Spain) and the Melk Gallery (Norway) that are invited to present two artists.

L’Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya was founded in 1972 and has three departments: a photography school offering a four year program; a cultural department that offers conferences and exhibitions; and a library providing specialized resources a photo library and historic negative archives.
The artists selected by the Melk Gallery include:
• Tony Kristensson – Rummet
• Katinka Goldberg – Surfacing
The Melk Gallery in Oslo was founded in 2009 by Bjarne Bare and Behzad Farazollahi to promote Scandinavian photographic art and has since presented 15 exhibitions. In spring, 2012, the Melk gallery will be opening a new location designed to host international art projects.
This year, Circulation(s) will especially feature Swiss artists.
