The former Director of Magnum Photos in London and New York, Chris has been producing and editing photography books and exhibitions for over twenty years. He is currently the director of Aperture, an American publishing house, gallery and magazine.
In April, Christian Caujolle will be selecting the portfolios. He was a critic and picture editor at the French newspaper Libération until 1986 when he created the photography agency Agence VU’. In 1988 he created the VU’ Gallery and is currently a teacher at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, an independent curator, a writer for the Italian weekly Internazionale and frequent contributor for book prefaces, catalogs and exhibitions. He is the Artistic Director of the Photo Phnom Penh Festival he created in Cambodia in 2008.
Applicants must send a minimum of 7 images, and a maximum of 15 (1024 pixels, 72 dpi), along with a short text of presentation of their approach to photography also indicating age, nationality, and place of residence.
