Chloé Gassian lives and works in Paris.
After her studies in the graphic arts, she went to Gobelins for photography to complete her training in the image. On leaving, she quickly specialized in fashion. The mainly produces lookbooks and editorials.
She started to work for the magazines Shoes Up and Fricote, and the publisher Pyramyd…
Then at the same time, she was part of the creative studio of the sneakers brand Veja and the shop Centre Commercial. Since then she has collaborated with other magazines such as Standard, Technikart, Mint Magazine , and about once a year with the itinerant cultural magazine I Heart (Tel Aviv, Seoul and Montreal).
Her world is defined by clear perspectives, a clean lighting that reveals electric colours or a translucent glow of the skin. Her models evolve in graphic universes where she directs them in unusual situations. She likes to create narratives in her series where she explores the beauty in the strange.
