This series of interviews with different generations of photographers from Chili was scheduled to appear in Le Journal de la Photographie to mark the 40th anniversary of the military coup of September 11th 1973.
When the Journal de la Photographie ceased publication, the series found a new home, in French and English, on the site of the independent daily Médiapart. It wraps up this week with the youngest of the photographers interviewed, Alejandro Olivares, age 32, who talks about the legacy of the 1970s and 1980s, his own work, and the spirit of the emerging generation.
