Extracts from a global project, Mémoires de bal, led by the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Salers, these nine unique portraits of people, many of them elderly, living alone in the heart of their village, either by themselves or in retirement homes, complement the interviews conducted by the anthropologist Lucie Braun. Each person spoke about their relationship to ballroom, dance and music.
Born in Cantal, france, Céline Gaille lives in Paris and works and as freelance writer and photographer.
