Available in newsstands and book stores this week , the 4th issue of the review Camera invites us to revive our imagination by freeing us from photographic modes. Willingness that start with the editorial, entitled Free Spirits and that sounds like a reverence for the multidisciplinarity of the medium. At a time when , through exhibitions, number of institutions – Centre Pompidou , MoMA , Metropolitan Museum, to name a few – pay homage to surrealism and its proclaimed freedoms , Camera brings back the dream, creative madness, enthusiasm, while identifying itself with a form of authenticity. To open the summary , a meeting with American photographer and poet Duane Michals, who will reveal at Paris Photo a new body of work and is the subject of a documentary to see this month. To finish, a picture of Sanne Sannes , Dutch photographer who exhibits his photographs of love moments at the Swedish Institute in Paris. Between these two : emotion, freedom and foremost diversity.
