The Prix Picto de la Mode launches its 2017 call for applications. Organized by Picto Foundation, the prize will celebrate its twentieth anniversary this year. Every year, it rewards “emerging talents in the field of fashion photography”. In 2016, the Prix Picto de la Mode was associated with the Galliera Palace – Fashion Museum of the City of Paris.
The jury of the 2017 edition will be composed of: Paolo Roversi (photographer, President of the jury), Olivier Saillard (museum director, Palais Galliera), Sylvie Lécallier (curator, Palais Galliera), Anne Marie Gardinier Marie Gardinier Agency), Nathalie Benchetrit (buyer of Art, Publicis), Laurent Henrion (Photographer, 2016 winner of the Picto de la Mode Prize), Carla Sozzani (gallery owner), Natacha Wolinski (journalist), Patrick Rémi Christoph Wiesner (Artistic Director, Paris Photo), Lolita Jacobs (Image Director Chloé), Damien Melich (JCDecaux, Delphine Perroy (Editor-in-Chief, Madame Figaro) and Yann Vaternelle (Louis Vuitton)
Candidates must be under 35 years of age. All nationalities are accepted. They will have to propose two series of 2 to 10 photographs per series. Deadline for applications is September 17, 2017.
