Magnum Foundation just opened its call for applications for its program Photography and Social Justice. This scholarship rewards photographers who, through their photographic works, “combat injustice, pursue social equality and advance the rights of humanity. ”
The Foundation is based in New York City and leads the projects selected from its headquarters. Thus, the fellowship allocates funds and resources so that the winners can continue their work, regardless of their workplace. The Magnum Foundation covers travel expenses as well as sessions in New York.
The program is produced in partnership with the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
More information online. Applications must be received before 30 November.
