The Magnum Foundation just opened the nominations for the 17th edition of its Inge Morath Award. This award grants a woman photographer under the age of 30 at a price of $ 5,000 who has pursued a long-standing documentary project.
This Magnum Foundation Scholarship is named after the Austrian photographer, a member of Magnum Photos for nearly fifty years. The prize was created in 2002 when she died.
In 2017, it was the German Johanna-Maria Fritz who won the prize with her series Like a Bird.
