Les Boutographies – Rencontres Photographiques de Montpellier (France) just launch its call for applications for the next edition, to be held in Spring 2018 . Organized by the photographic association Grain d’Image, Les Boutographies give a large place to photographic contributions and applications. Each year, a large part of their exhibitions comes from the received applications . The festival has also bound strong partnerships (Arte, Fotoleggendo Roma, The Days), allowing themselves to put light on different photographic inputs.
As an example, the 2017 edition rewarded Schlup Niederhauser (Jury Prize), Sandra Mehl (Prix Coup de Coeur Les Jours), Alban Lecuyer (Prix Coup de Coeur Réponses Photo) or Corinne Mariaud (Prix Arte Actions Culturelles).
Candidates should send 10 to 20 photographs in 700pixels (jpg) format in a single compressed file. A registration fee is required. The deadline for applications is 12 November 2017. Applications are to be made online.
