Emaho Foundation has been set up to identify and highlight the works of outstanding photographers from Asia.The foundation is relentlessly formulating programmes and platforms for new and established Asian photographers to create a conducive environment for their photographic projects. Emaho Emerging Photography Grant is one of the pioneering efforts from Asia to provide financial support and an international platform to emerging photographers from within Asian boundaries.
Emaho Foundation announces its first grant towards honouring an emerging photographer from Asia. Along with a grant of US$ 5000, this programme will also provide the recipient photographer an international platform to showcase her/his ongoing photography project in Asia.
The grant will be awarded to a photographer selected by a reputed panel of international jury on the basis of her/his photographic brilliance, a distinct viewpoint, sincere engagement with the subject matter and a strong desire to establish the body of works internationally.
Deadline for submissions is July 31, 2015 at 12 p.m. (Indian Standard Time)
The recipient’s name will be announced on or around September 1, 2015.
