After Zoologies (2007) and Bitter-Sweet (2013), this exhibition in the third , the Box Gallery in Brussels has devoted to the works of Michel Vanden Eeckhoudt.
It’s also the first since his untimely death in March 2015, a little more than a year ago. An exhibition in the form of a tribute, then, as a mark of family and friendship. With Mary, his partner in life and work, we have chosen twenty pictures, made between 1974 and 2011 and which summarise the extent of Michel’s talent.
Photographs that appear to us indispensable, known in the main as “classics” of which we don’t get tired. Images to see again and again, images that live, that illuminate the daily life.
