We do not hide the time that passes on our hands. They are often marked by the elements that are handled and by the years.
Burnt, cracked, cut, deformed or wrinkled they never stop regardless of age because for some, it means the end of a job and sometimes misery.
The hands say what the words hide and we do not cheat with the marks of time.
The black and white highlights the story in the frame: the subject, the contrast, the material and the form.
I have always been fascinated by the work of the hands, by those of my father or my mother, lovers of Italian cuisine, who worked the dough.
From this fascination was born this project on hands as a tribute to all those people who live from the work of their hands with a special thought for my father.
