The Instituto Moreira Salles has just released the fourth issue of its magazine Zum and announced that submissions are now being accepted for its photography grant, the Bolsa de Fotografia 2013.
Featured in this issue are: street photographs by Katy Grannan (taken in San Francisco and Los Angeles from 2008 to 2010) , Garry Winogrand, a rare interview with Pierre Bourdieu, speaking of the photographs he took in Algeria at the end of the 1950s; and contributions from Thomas Struth, Wim Wenders, Barbara Wagner and André Cepeda…
Submissions for the photography grant until July 15, 2013.
“The Bolsa de Fotografie 2013 ZUM/IMS will select two original projects to receive a grant of 65,000 reais (around 24,650 euros). Each project will then be made and delivered within eight months. The grant aims to support artists in the development of their photography regardless of theme or background. The winning projects will be inducted into the photographic archives of the IMS.”
