Inquisitive Creatures – The book, Inquisitive Creatures, is a story about 4 child prodigies, living in an abandoned workshop, on a quest to solve one of science’s most difficult problems, time travel. As the four friends set out to build a time machine, through trial and error, they discover that teamwork, persistence and above all friendship are the ingredients that make their dream come true.
“We carefully plan each photograph which means a lot of time is spent building the sets and props in our New Jersey studio. Our whole process is actually quite simple. A story is written and then we illustrate the narrative with photography. We like to be flexible so there’s a lot of adding and subtracting along the way. If an image doesn’t work, we’ll rework it until it fits the narrative.” – William Castellana
