MistEros is an editorial produced and designed by The Stylish Guys for Lella Pepe accessories. The images are inspired by the extreme dreamlike beauty and erotism of Marilyn Monroe, those characteristics are made even more desirable and mysterious by fog. These photos talk about a beautiful girl who once wears “Her” jewels acquires increased security on its sensuality demonstrating it to us by sparking the “souls” of men (represented by the model/statue).
Born and raised by parents photographers, Azzura Piccardi graduated at the University of Florence, in fashion design; she found out about her truly passion in the art of photography during her university studies and began to get confident with cameras only in 2006 by attending private courses of photography techniques, visual communication and post production.
In 2008, she assists Graziano Ferrari for the magazine “Grazia” during the fashion shows “Milan Fashion Week”.
In 2009, she collaborated with Antonio Manta Studio where she featured photography and graphic in order to realize photo books.
At the beginning of 2010 she participated as an apprentice to the advertising campaign for Angelo Marani photographed by Solve Sundsbo in London.
After graduation she went to New York to specialize in fashion and advertising photography at the School of Visual Art.
Here she had the chance to work as an assistant and retoucher for Andrea Blanch, a photographer who has worked for most of her life with Richard Avedon. He seem to be ubiquitous in the study of the photographer, which is a growth and inspiration cause for Azzurra, and in the last months of her stay in NYC she is called to be the art director of post-production for a beauty project.
Nowadays, Azzurra works as a professional freelancer photographer, trying to combine her passions (photography, art and fashion) to make it a lifestyle. Attention to detail, dreamer and experimenter but with feet firmly welded to the ground: these are the characteristics that make her sensitive to fashion and life in general.
