Today begins a two-days huge sale of photographs organized by Phillips, in New York. The title of the book is The Odyssey of Collection: Photographs of Joy from Giving Something Collection.
. Almost all great photographers of the twentieth century are represented : Robert Frank, Lewis Hine, Berenice Abbott, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Josef Albers, Dorothea Lange and many others, selection having a clear preference for black & white photography.
The sale will be all day-long at 450 Park Avenue, New York. It is open to the public
