During Paris Photo, Artcurial will host a pop-up workshop of the famous Japanese editor amanasalto. From November 7 to 15, the public will be invited, by appointment, to witness platinum print making workshops with Motoyuki Kubo and Yoshifumi Inomata, two crafts-masters who have travelled specially from Japan.
Established in 2012, amanasalto is a joint venture between amana inc. in Japan and Salto Ulbeek in Belgium. At its headquarters and the state-of-the-art printing studio in Tokyo, amanasalto manages the entire production processes for its publishing projects including planning, manufacturing and distribution of limited edition prints, portfolios, and special editions with premium photo books.
Among the artists with whom amanasalto creates limited edition prints are : Tadao Ando, Nobuyoshi Araki, Immogen Cunningham, Elliott Erwitt, Sarah Moon, Daïdo Moriyama and Hiroshi Sugimoto, to name only a few.
