Next week we’ll be unveiling the new version of L’Oeil de la Photographie.We are not supersticious it could bring bad luck , so we will talk about it later. But for now, let’s talk about the 20 passes we’re giving away to the Rencontres d’Arles.* We can also talk about vacation photos, which we’ll be publishing from July 14th through August 29th.
I have to confess, I adore this season of the year and I dream of the time and place where we could put together a retrospective of the past four years. This week is going to be busier than usual. Some of you will criticize us for it. It’s very difficult to ignore a piece of news. It makes one feel a sense of guilt, of work not done, of disrespect. So excuse us, but for the next seven weeks, L’Oeil will be yours and yours alone.
