As soon as I arrive in Arles, I see that it will be there for this 2021 vintage. Indeed, the walls of the city do not deceive, the very large posters are present. Certainly, there are still a few from last year; but, some novelties appear. Etienne Racine is and will be in Arles until the end of August 2021 to present his work.
He is always present, he hangs on, he imposes himself and he sells. Our modern anthropologist with his quill in the shape of a photographic camera continues his approach. He left his mark on Arles with his “city” posters which judiciously adorn the walls of the city.
The spirit of the Rencontres is restored by a novice who has established visibility and conviviality, for the last three years, in this city which really needs to be attentive to the expectations of the thousands of photography aficionados who roam the city.
