It was hidden in the beautiful setting of Gallery 8 of our friend Julia. The Brazilian collective of photographers, Iandé, presented, for their first exhibition in Arles, the work of Ana Sabiá.
How in a period of strict confinement and a deleterious Brazilian atmosphere a designer who has gone into exile in an almost deserted island located at the very south of the country, amuses us. An improvised photographic studio of odds and ends (at least in appearance), a decor of four pieces of string and a women Friday are working to amuse us.
We must not be mistaken, as in any comedy, the subject is not completely innocent, the images speak, they are cleverly deployed, the contrasts impose their strokes in the middle of a sensual naivety.
