Carolina Cuneo works her head inside the clouds with one foot on Earth and the other one among the Stars. The collection, presented this year in Arles, repeats and amplifies in quantity the serie presented in Venice, Salerno and Fotografia Europea 2018. This work takes again the new relationships which have been established between nature and the man after the ecological thoughts of the years 60 and 70, before the New Age. Nature is no longer looked as an object with a profit to extract, but it becomes part of the universe of man. Attention is focused on the trees, archetypes of many cultures, which unite the earth to heaven, the top to the bottom, the conscious to the unconscious, within a relationship in which the tree being actually a spiritual intermediary since always. This luminous writing of trees blossoms in an aesthetic potential that directly challenges each one of us.
