Les Rencontres d’Arles just launched their Photo Book Prize contest. Candidates can compete in three categories until Friday, June the 2nd. books must have been published from June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2017. Created forty-eight years ago, the same years as the festival, Arles Photo Book prize is word-widely recognized as one of the most prestigious photographic awards. Winners from the Author Book Award, the Historical Book Award and the Photo-Text Book Award will all win € 6,000 euros each.
Last year, Mariken Wessels won the author’s book prize, whereas Annette Behrens won the historical book’s categorie and Edmund Clark & Crofton Black book photo-text’s. Informations and open applications are to be made online.
