OFF the wall is a magazine, a photozine, an album of images. In returning to paper it aims to promote emerging photographers and unearth neglected pictures from the past that haven’t received the attention they deserve. Whether taken with traditional or digital cameras or even smartphones it hunts out forgotten and unpublished photos. The next issue of OFF the wall will be released in Perpignan for the 25th edition of Visa pour l’image. Mostly about photojournalism, OFF the wall 2 will present a conversation “Transmission” between Patrick Chauvel, the only photo reporter still working since 1968, and young photo reporter Edouard Elias, now held somewhere in Syria. Agathe Gaillard, Christian Caujolle and Ara Gûler will also talk to youngest generation. Revealing emerging photography, awakening old forgotten images : the issue will show the work of Edouard Elias, Yusuf Sevinçli, Raymond Dakoua, Antanas Sutkus among others.
For the Voies Off festival at Arles, OFF the wall is organising a projection entitled Arles in black: an opportunity to introduce the new review and the OFF the wall in BLACK, black and white selection.
