To mark the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Association Etudiante de l’ENSP, the exhibition Work In Progress is accompanied by a handsome editorial project. Eight “Photobooks” were published. They are directed by Delphine Bedel, a photographer, curator and director of the Amsterdam Art/Book Fair. “We wanted to reflect the diversity of the emerging practices of contemporary photography (documentary, archives, staging, publishing, collage, etc). This project is a collection of eight newspapers, printed in a limited series by the WIP.
The eight “photobooks” were designed by the Swiss graphic designer and represent the following series: Camille Amzallag: Bloc 42, interphone 16, Barriol, Aï Estelle Barreyre: A fleur, Romain Beaujard: Théodore Casson journal et oiseaux, Maïa Izzo: Catalepsie, Julie Hascoët: Le jour où elle nuit, Jonathan Llense: Allume-feu, Lenda Pessoal: Pour tout l’or du monde, and Olivier Sarrazin: Backyard.
