There is life in the camp. We work, play, meet, study, have fun, love, all in the streets of the camp. In this small space, with the large amount of people, life has all its meanings. When Shareef moves around the camp with his camera, he lives their stories, with all its daily details.
Shareef Sarhan is an artist & photographer from Gaza, Palestine. Trained in fine arts, he taught art at Gaza College and Al Azhar University of Gaza before graduating from ICS University in the USA in 2001. In 2003, he founded “Windows from Gaza”, a group for modern art. He is a member of the Palestinian Artist Association, and worked as a graphic designer and lecturer. As a photographer, he worked with many NGO’s.
