From its founding in 1973 until folding in 1982, Allan Tannenbaum served as the SoHo Weekly News’ Chief Photographer and Photo Editor. His coverage of the New York City art, music, political and nightlife scenes of the times are unprecedented. This photographic portfolio exemplifies Tannenbaum’s long association with the New York Punk scene. Featuring the iconic players and places, it is a definitive view into this storied and influential chapter in music history.

Each 11×14 inch Archival Pigment print, produced under the direct supervision of the photographer, is hand numbered, captioned and signed on the print recto.
